Today became a day I will absolutely cherish! Started out with an early morning coffee run because my beloved coffee mug has been feeling a little empty lately.

I decided to go with a small black coffee and once I poured the coffee into my coffee mug all of a sudden it became a happy, filled coffee mug!

After I finished it off, I met up with my dear friend Patricia and we walked her sweet dogs Lucy and Ethel.

First though, Ethel wanted to model her new haircut…

And of course, Lucy showed off her new haircut as well…

I asked Patricia if she wanted to join me to try and scope out the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge again but she had things to do so I bid her farewell. Turns out I not only got to see them but I got to shake their hands!! How cool is that? My last chance of seeing British Royalty and I actually got to touch them!
Yesterday the crowd was set up across the street but today everybody was surprised we actually got to be near the residence the Royal couple was staying at. It became a big possibility of actually seeing them up close when someone came up to the crowd and told us to address them as His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness or Sir and Madam.
After they met with, thanked, and took pictures with the California Highway Patrol, LAPD, and British Secret Service, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their way over the crowd.

This was probably the most surreal experience I’ve ever had! I’m certainly not planning on heading over to England anytime soon so I realize this might’ve been a once in a lifetime experience. Both William and Catherine are super nice and genuine. He is seriously handsome in person and she is absolutely stunning!! Definitely a day for me to remember!
