Chicago Marathon Training: W 6.08.22

Posted on June 8, 2022 by arunningmess

5.14 miles

At first, I wasn’t sure if I would do 3, 4, or 5 miles but time and energy allowed me to get those 5 in, and I am happy about that.

Listening to my body sometimes gets me to bed at 8 PM and I’m okay with that especially when I feel energized the next day.

The Shoes

Hoka Bondi 7 is my new favorite! I wore them yesterday as well and I could wear them every day but I’m trying to rotate my shoes more, and not wear the same shoes or model day after day. Even though I got these a week ago, I may need another pair soon.

The Music

“Stickshifts and Safetybelts” from CAKE came on the playlist. I haven’t heard this 2-minute jam in a long while but I’ve always enjoyed running to this one.

Tomorrow’s plan: 3 miles

Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon training.
