Chicago Marathon Training: F 6.10.22

Posted on June 10, 2022 by arunningmess

4.02 miles

Today I put some tunes on and walked these miles gently, focused on keeping them easy. Even if I wanted to, speedwalking is not my forte.

Technically, it was to be a total rest day, but I’m aiming to finish the GVRAT this summer because I want to finish!

Of course, in order for me to do so, I need to up my mileage just a tad while still being mindful of not overextending or pushing too hard at the risk of injury because that is the definitely the last thing I need, but I’m pretty good about backing off when I need to especially when my hip flexors start speaking to me.

Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon training.
