5.25 miles
This morning the tiredness was soaked into my body and my energy was drained due to not sleeping well and also after receiving some sad news last night. Normally I prefer to run in the morning, but I just couldn’t get myself going.
I could’ve easily opted not to run today, but it felt important for me to do so. I needed to run and as soon as I started moving, if I had any remaining tiredness, it melted away like butter on a hot piece of bread. Running doesn’t solve everything but it sure helps at times.
This run is dedicated to L.W.
Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon (October 9) training.
