Chicago Marathon Training: Tu 6.21.22

Posted on June 21, 2022 by arunningmess

5.46 miles

Here’s where I start to mesh a couple of different training plans together.

The 5.46 miles were for the 5 I was supposed to do tomorrow, and I included the Speed Run from the Chicago Marathon Nike Run Club Training Plan into it, except that I realize now I messed up.

Instead of 1:00 minute hard running and 2:00 minutes easy, I switched it and made it 1:00 minute easy running and 2:00 minutes hard! I thought that’s what it said! LOL! No wonder I was more fatigued at the end.

But guess what?! I finished all 7 intervals.

But the next time I decide to combine two different plans, I shall double-check first what I should be doing.

Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon training.
