Chicago Marathon Training: Tu 09.13.22

Posted on September 13, 2022 by arunningmess

3.34 miles

These miles may be short but they were enough for me to reach the GVRAT finish line today!

The GVRAT didn’t quite go as planned for me this year, but marathon training took precedence over trying to reach a certain number per day, or per week. I’ve accepted the outcome of completing it in overtime and I wouldn’t have changed anything. Now there are rumblings of the GVRAT returning in 2023 but I’ll hold off on any decision-making for the time being.

Right now all my focus is on Chicago. What were months and weeks, are now, days. 26 days between me and race day and there is much work still to be done.

Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon training.
