2.35 miles
I interrupted my precious sleep last night by waking up at midnight to watch the Berlin Marathon and what a race that was! Oh, em gee that was epic with Eliud Kipchoge breaking his new World Record and Tigist Assefa taking the course record on the women’s race! It was so much fun to watch. Those announcers were informative and entertaining and I would watch it all over again just for their commentary.
Watching Berlin was inspiring and I’m hoping I’ll absorb some of that energy in a couple of weeks because today my energy level was fairly low because my body felt tired and sore but I got some easy walking to shake it out. I still felt tired and sore afterward so I will be sure to take it easy for the next 2 weeks because race day is just around the corner! Chicago is in 2 weeks from today!
Thank you for reading my daily post on my Chicago Marathon training.
