Rest Day
I love starting marathon training with a rest day! I completed a few miles over the weekend but even if I wanted to run or work out today, I have a full day so it’s a complete rest day.
Thoughts
And so it begins! 18 weeks to go.
It’s been a long while since I’ve been in “training mode” so I’m hoping my muscles have some memory stored up. But good memory. The kind that reminds you of why you do this, and not the kind of memory that tells you “oh dear, now I remember why I didn’t want to sign up for any races.”
